This Makuch (also Makuh) website is for relatives of the late John Marko Makuch and Barbara Rosisz (Rosic) Makuch of Cleveland, Ohio. Both were originally from Eastern Europe and immigrated to the US in the early 1900s.
John and Barbara were both born in (then) Austria-Hungary; John in 1884 and Barbara 1891. They first met in Oxford New Jersey, married in Connecticut in 1909. They also lived in Pennsylvania before settling in Cleveland where they raised their ten children: Michael, John, Joseph, Frank, Margaret, Sophie, Lillian, Peter, Richard, Barbara.

Makuch Family Reunion Aug 1-3, 2009. By all accounts the reunion was a terrific success. At one point I counted about 80 people. Email your pictures to me and I will post them here.

I invite you to login and browse the tree as well as update information. We would like to fill in the tree with all of the 10 families, please help!
